Inspiration of the Month: the Penguin Soundtracks Spotify app

Scroll down

Nowadays, it’s becoming harder for people to free up time to read books. Do publishers just have to accept that simple fact? Penguin Books, the iconic publisher of British literature, surely doesn’t. They embraced the e-book and upgraded it to something that’s so much richer than just the digital version of its printed version.

To give the reading experience an extra dimension, they launched the Penguin Soundtracks app. This tablet application allows readers to compile their own Spotify soundtrack that assigns specific songs and sound effects to specific sections of the book. You can share your soundtrack with others or just download an existing one compiled by other readers. Watch the case movie and discover a great way to intensify your reading experience.
