Kix 2006 - consumer-oriented channel marketing

With World Cup 2006 almost upon us, LUON has launched a football game with a twist as part of the Consumer World project for Tech Data. Tech Data's vendors, distributors, retailers and end-users can all enjoy the fun.

The sales and marketing campaign is initiated by the distributor Tech Data, allowing vendors to highlight and promote their latest products and engaging retailers to support the promotions.

Tech Data is offering their retailer partners a ready-to-use sales and marketing project aimed at their end-consumers, including campaign websites and multiple forms of in-store support. The tools offered enable the retailers to build traffic and increase sales, without having to invest in marketing actions themselves.

A combination of promotional offers, games, sales incentives and relevant information is used to tease the consumers to engage in the campaigns and the retailers to participate in a long-term sales generating framework.
The first part in the Consumer World campaign is the addictive soccer game Kix-2006, built in time for the world cup.
